Friendship that lasts....
Like Lyn, a dear friend from Bogtong Elementary School, Jhoyse, a close friend from Paranaque Municipal High School, both from the Philippines, Anke and Carmen are former classmates during my Nursing Studies at the University Clinic of Heidelberg in Germany, with whom my friendship lasts even after long years of distance from each other.
Anke and Carmen are the kinds of friends with whom I can share with everything. I am so blessed and lucky to have such good friendships. Time and distance never did part us apart and it will never will, for these good friends are dear.
Lyn and I lost contact when I left Legazpi in 1980 for Manila. After 18 years, we again embraced each other. Jhoyse, a dear friend from high school in 1984, I saw again in 2004. Carmen, Anke and I finished Nursing in Heidelberg in October 1997 and again, it is now almost 10 years since this wonderful friendship had begun.
Wallo and Helga, Mara and Günter, Corinna and Marco, Wolfgang and Dagmar, Sybille,Christa, Tine and Antonia, Bernie, Mary Jean, Jam, Vangie and Bing join my circle of friends.
